Another Country and heading home

Many people like to keep a list of places visited.  Today we were able to add another country to the list-the world's smallest country-The Vatican.  The main attraction we were able to visit at the Vatican was the Sistine Chapel.  Well known for the work by Michelangelo, the chapel is also home to the meetings when the a new pope is selected.

We finished up our day with another performance and dinner.

We are packing and getting ready for breakfast.  Prepare for some exhausted travelers tonight when we return to NCHS tonight!

By the way-I will do a large post with the many photos I have not been able to post due to the wifi issues, so look for that in the next few days.

See you tonight!

While in Rome

Today started with a later start than normal so everyone got to sleep in a bit later.  It was best that we all had some extra rest to prepare for a very full day of exploring.  It was much colder and rainy much of the day, but the weather didn't dampen the spirits of the travelers!

Today we were able to visit many of the most iconic spots in Rome, including the colosseum, the forum, Trevi fountain, and more!  We were, once again, in groups today.  As I get photos from other chaperones I will work to get more photos uploaded.  For now, enjoy a few photos to see what we were up to today.

Tomorrow will be our last day in Rome before we say arevi derchi-hoping for warm weather again for our day at Vatican City.
